The driving passion of reproducing disciples is that their vision is set on producing the third generation and even the fourth generation disciples through the investment of their life in each individual. It is this that propels the principle of multiplying disciples. We find Jesus praying for this in John 17:9, where says "I ask on their behalf, I do not ask on the behalf of the world, but of those You have given me." Then in verse 20, He prays, "I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word." (Emphasis added) We find the principle of the fourth generation in 2 Timothy 2:2 where the Apostle Paul speaks of what he had given to Timothy, Timothy was to pass on to others, who would teach others also. I am convinced that any believer can do this, if they set their heart on getting God's heart for people. It is a matter of caring. It is a matter of giving yourself to what really is important. The commission that our Lord delivered, "Go and Make disciples," is a given, rather than an option.
Each one be a disciple -- each one reach one -- each one train one -- each on send one.
How are you doing?
